The president of the temporary authority of the municipality of Doljevac, Goran Ljubić, in a recent statement to our radio, announced several significant investments for our region.
As he pointed out, 14 million dinars will be invested in the installation of biathon tracks in Doljevac, instead of the already dilapidated sidewalk, on the stretch from the prokupa railway to the exit from Doljevac towards Orljan. The contract with the Ministry of Local Self-Government, which finances these works, has already been signed, said Ljubić, and a tender is expected to be announced in the next ten days. The participation of the local self-government is 4 million dinars, and the relevant ministry invests 10 million. That space, in addition to being a pedestrian path, will also be partly planned as a parking lot, because it is noticeable, emphasizes Ljubić, that we have a problem with the parking space along the main street, which will now be solved.
He added that the square in Pukovac will also be decorated, and he reminded that he recently opened a kindergarten in Pukovac with the Minister of Education, and the heating boilers in Pukovac will also be replaced. He also announces the realization of an investment that has been waiting for several years, namely the complete reconstruction of the school building in Doljevac, worth 144 million dinars. As he says, he expects the work on the facade to begin before the start of the summer vacation, so that the reconstruction would be completed by the beginning of the new school year.
Two more significant investments, according to him, are the construction of two pools for drinking water on the hill in Kočan, in which the state will invest 280 million dinars, and in the next ten days, he says, the foundation stone will be laid for the construction of a collector for the purification of waste water, i.e. fecal sewage in Doljevac.
He reminds that the works on the improvement of the electricity system in the municipality of Doljevac with the construction of a substation in Kočan, as well as the replacement of a total of 170 wooden poles with concrete ones in Malošishte, Čapljinac and Perutina, are continuing.
He points out that the local self-government has a number of other projects planned, but, as he emphasizes, he will present the details when all the details of the planned works are determined and the necessary contracts are signed.
